The blackest

The G-Men were supposed to be on the bill at Irene's May 7; unfortunately their drummer took ill. Word is that if the band is well enough to travel they'll be in town June 3 for the Demolition Doll Rods show at Mavericks. Blackball was grabbed for the opening slot, and sounded very together as they ripped through their set.

Dave Faught drums shirtlessly on his none-more-black drum kit.

Kevin Hopkins gets down on bass.

Ron Lance on stoic guitars.

Ken and Dave go for that harmony vocal action.

Should have turned the flash up a wee bit for this picture, methinks. Even for Blackball they are looking a bit too black..

Their new CD - recorded in nine hours at Yogi's Meatlocker - is out now.

Hey Andrew, thanks for posting the pics of our set last Saturday, they look good. Too often I have a really retarded look on my face. This was definitely a fun show, all the bands played great sets.
Hope you get a chance to come out to our CD release party at Irene's on May 27th.
Cheers
Kevin
