Jet boy

Flecton Bigsky and the Dreamcatchers is the lovechild of Miche Jette, well known on the Ottawa music scene for his playing with Jehovah's Wetness, Werbo and a few other local noteworthies. He doesn't play out all that often ... I saw him at Bluesfest (2003 on the Birdman Stage, if memory serves) and opening for Royal Trux. I've missed gigs at Bumpers and a couple at The Aloha Room and Manx to celebrate the release of his CD on Kelp (recorded with folks from The Grifters and Califone, don't you know) - but I still say they're as rare as hen's teeth and about as odd. It's robust rock with a strange edge and some spaced out banter.

Flecton in face paint ... hey, it worked for Bob Dylan!

Speaking of Werbo, here's drummer and well-known heckler Tom Werbowetski.

Scott Terry - also of The Banditas, Fucking Machines, Andrew Vincent and the Pirates and various other outfits - gets on down.

More Flecton!

Odd rock action!

What a character.
