And away they go

I was going to stick to my band-a-day regimen, but since the Million Dollar Marxists will be swarming the famous SXSW fest today (Beerland, once again), I figure I might as well rush stuff through. Last time they played SXSW, the M$M swung a mention in Rolling Stone as one of the Top 5 acts to watch. For this show they were also celebrating the release of their smoking new Do You Wanna Evolve? seven-inch, out on the Seeing Eye record label. They didn't actually have the vinyl yet, but the two songs sound killer on the substitute CDs they had in its place.

We begin our tour on the left side of the stage ...

Luke did not stand on Tim at this show ... near, but not on.

Davie Quesnelle (ex-Robot Kill City, Mail Nurse, Black Actor and Quebexican) is now on board to play guitars and a bit of keyboards.

... and also to do that thing with his hair.

Real climbing action from monkey-boy Luke Nuclear. (Also larger - he's just gotta climb.)

He got a little carried away.

Singalong fun ...

Luke and Davie are like peas in a pod; sweaty peas, I might add.

At this point Luke dragged a bunch of folks on stage. (Some of who behaved improperly.)

Things ended in chaos, as they usually do at a Million Dollar Marxists show.
