... And good knight

The Brutal Knights were barfed forth from the pustulent boil that was Toronto's The Teen Crud Combo and the more exquisite corpse of Hacksaw. They are dumb, disgusting, funny, fast and loud. Their lyrical sense is in sync with The Dead Boys, their sound is early Dwarves.

TCC refugee XFlansX - Nick Flanagan to his mum - kept his shirt on this time. Nick is also a comedian of some repute, and will be appearing at Zaphod's tomorrow with Daiquiri and Books on Tape.

Guitarist Jon "Ron Sharronto" Sharron rocks the masonite.

Matt "MSGezus" Sharron - few drum faster and harder.

The D-Dawg (a.k.a. Daniella Costanza) rules the low end with a fingerless glove of iron!

Katie G. Warrior (Katie Whitaker, some call her) prepares for a musical assault.

Audience interaction action! What kind of crazy mosh pit action is going down with the two guys on the left? (Also larger for extra punkitude.)

Ex-Hacksaw brothers action!

This band is Steve-approved! (That's him pointing skyward, BTW - there's also a larger, and largely redundant, version.)

You can brobably tell from the angle of these shots that I was avoiding the front of the stage. It was a busy place.

Their new record is a damn fine slice of scumpunk.
  • Show reminder: Yogi and The Lunatic play the Aloha; yes, it's a Tuesday - The Banditas will be performing in the regular Wednesday slot.
