Dinosaurs of pop

Pianosaurus Rex likes their pop culture, with songs referencing William Shatner, Luke Wilson, Jack Kerouac and Star Wars. They also have a silly bio and back-story involving MPAA supremo Jack Valenti's magic powers, Internet squatter Tom Selleck, Rush cover bands and, most improbably of all, working at Jumbo Video. Oh, and they have pseudonyms.

Their set began with some guest vocals from Solid Sender and Jezebel Mary Popp, singing some heavily modulated lyrics in binary from the shadows ....

Sassasaurus Rex - the nostril view.

Ladysaurus Rex means business and pink bows.

Meccasaurus Rex leans on the keys.

Wattasaurus Rex - and what a dull photo.

And now, some Jurassic action!

Meccasaurus continues the binary singalong, which come to think of it looks vaguely naughty.

The wide angle!

They were fun, but I'm still not quite sure what to make of a song about Admiral Ackbar of Return of the Jedi fame - the chorus was, of course, "It's a trap!"
