Retinal damage

Human Eye frontman Tommy Lampinen was once Tim Vulgar of The Clone Defects. As leader of that band and such fine outfits as Reptile Forcefield he's had a hand in the creation of some of the most freaked out rock to come out of Detroit lately. It's not "experimental" or "avant-garde" just loaded with peculiar moans and strange guitar architecture. In other words, it's really good!

The assembled deviants: Johnny Lzr on "alien pianos", Tommy, drummer Billy Hafer and bassist Brad Hales.

I'm sure I heard they were coming back to town soon-ish, but now I can find no trace. Maybe I'm thinking of the Grand Trine show ...
