Standing out

Hometown favourites The Balconies have continued their upward surge, following up their Bluesfest set with a wider release of their new album and a tour of the Maritimes and Quebec (which they blogged about on iheartmusic, also the promoter of this Cafe DeKcuf show).

Guitar-waving action. I admire Jacquie's snazzy sparkly leggings. She's one of the rare local performers who seems to put some thought into how she dresses.

They've got more shows coming up, starting with a gig February 26 at the Black Sheep Inn up in Wakefield.
