Eastern promises

After a long drought of shows I could attend (with just an instore from Chris Page to tide me over) I finally had a chance to see a night of live music courtesy of a trio of young acts at The Rainbow. At first I thought the openers were called Euthanasia. Then I thought they were called Youth In Asia, but no one would call themselves that since its been used too often. No, this trio is actually called Youth and Asia and sound somewhere in the vicinity of Pavement and Jonathan Richman.

Charles Cheang sings and guitars.
