Folk extrusion

Once upon a time I had a backlog ... now here we are at Mess Folk's Babylon set from Tuesday, and that's all that's left in the camper. Good thing there's a bunch of stuff to see this weekend. But back to Tuesday. Mess Folk and Mouth dropped in on Boozeday to lay down some happening sounds ... in Mouth's case I have to guess, since it was a work night and I got there too late to witness them in action. As for Mess Folk, it was four songs tops, and sounded right up my alley, sludgy psychedelic stuff.

Here we go ...  Dale Fahey on bass, a mostly obscured Adam White on drums, evil mastermind Philip Tarr on vocals and Shane O'Handley on guitar.

Mess Folk at Babylon

It was good enough to make me buy both their 7-inches ... now if I can just find the time to play them ...
