Everyday people

I only caught one show at Bluesfest July 9, rock'n'roller Joan Jett, whose early solo career marked my own first experience of rock (previous exposure to popular music having consisted mostly of The Beatles, The Monkees and The Muppets).

And here she is, along with guitarist Dougie Needles, who has his own punk band The Public Offenders.

Joan Jett rocks, I remember her all girl teenage rock band The Runaways, lead guitar player Lita Ford without a doubt excellent and still is today. Enzo Penizzotto and Gary Ryan I thought were Joan Jett and the Blackhearts best bass players. Tony Bruno and Tommy Burns were the best lead guitar players for the Blackhearts. Tony Bruno, not only a really good guitar player but nice person too, very friendly and cool with Joan Jett fans, Enzo as too is cool.
