The wonder of it all

Austin's Carolyn Wonderland is a gal with a lot of red hair and a rootsy Texas blues sound. She polished her performing chops living out of her van and touring 300 days a year and has also released a succession of albums, of which Miss Understood is the latest.

Miss Wonderland herself, staring down the sun.

Drummer Rob Hooper mans the traps (updated, thanks to useless goo for the info)  Michael "Lefty" Lefkowitz and Eldridge Goins have also done time in her combo.

Her keyboardist is Cole El-Saleh (once again, thanks uselessgoo).

She got a standing ovation ... I suspect it won't be her last Ottawa Bluesfest.
