Send more paramedics!

As I've said before, the Avant-Garde is kind of small, and has an inconvenient layout, with a long, thin room at the front being used for shows (if you're just there for the cheesecake stairs at the back lead down to a larger space). That's fine for most of the shows I've seen there. It is not so fine for acts that inspire mosh pits, and the Motorhead-loving punks of Trioxin 245 are definitely such a band. Drummer Jo is of course also in Germ Attak and Blue Cross when not doing punk rock adaptations of Peach Kelli Pop's debut; guitarist And can also be seen in Critical Convictions.

I like how Jo stripped down to his briefs, then carefully put his bullet belt back on.

Here's Dez, about whom I know nothing (except that he likes Crass).

Thrashy action!

Translucent action!

All heavy metal shows should have Europop videos playing in the background (or not).

The crowd goes wild!

More Jo!

Here's a bad picture of And. There was a room of punks jumping up and down between me and him at this point.

A (very) slightly better photo taken from the stairs.

The whole lot! (As seen from the lobby.)

More thrashing and moshing!

The end!

A great show, but I think I might stick to more spacious venues for this kind of show in future.
