Temple of sound

I've seen a few Mono bands in my time ... Monotonix, Monohum, Monotonix and just plane Mono. None of these bands share much with each other, of for the latest Mono to cross my path, local trio Monobrow. They're a heavy instrumental trio, and you can hear some of their musical DNA in the work of drummer Brian Ahopelto's other band Acres and guitarist Paul Slater's previous home, killer Vancouver Black Sabbath freaks Sir Hedghog. The combo is rounded out by bassist Sam Beydown and as mentioned early make me think of Scandinavian hevay instro combo 35007.
