Tough stuff, baby

Mother's Children have a new EP out, Are You Tough Enough, and they were sounded rugged yet suave for this powerpop summit at Babylon, featuring The Barracudas' Jeremy Gluck and Atlanta's Barreracudas. Anyway, these guys are way past needing an introduction on this blog, so here we go!

They will of course be appearing at the Ottawa Explosion, on Saturday at Babylon.
  • Show reminder: Of all the gigs I'll regret missing this year due to work obligations, the show with ex-Harry Pussy guitarist Bill Orcutt, Black Walls and Kingdom Shore at Raw Sugar is assuredly near the top. The Walkouts make their presence known at the Rainbow.

Raw Sugar - that would be a good detail to remember to put in, wouldn't it?.

I should add that if you're expecting Harry Pussy like noiserock you might end up being disappointed. Orcutt's recent material is in a different vein.
