Oh, you pretty things

It was record release time again last night. This time for The Johnnies, who were joined by a couple of other Pretty Bad Records bands - The Shakey Aches (whose Tim and Mean Mad Matthew started the label) and The Polymorphines, whose own slab of wax is coming out in short order.

The Aches played a really hot set. They've been joined by Casey Comeau on organ (or organ soundalike, anyway) who, as Matthew noted, last played the Dom about six years ago. Actually, The Shakey Aches are looking increasingly like her old backing band.

Things ended up with some serious feedback abuse.

The Polymorphines played a rambunctious set, aided by an extremely rambunctious crowd who went particularly wild during a cover of Rat Tails' Adult Party.

Heinz enjoys some audience support. His guitar was down to three strings by the end.

The Johnnies wrapped things up with a short but sweet set of girl group pop punk.

There was a big crowd out to see everyone, which is always good!

Big fun all night long.
