CKCU's Crossing Boredom has taken upon itself the job of bringing heavy to the capital; last year they induced Sons of Otis, among others, to damage eardrums at The Rainbow. This year, they moved to Mavericks for All That Is Heavy II and scored quite a coup in bring Baltimore doom lords Iron Man to town. Fortunately for anyone staging a metal show in Ottawa, there's a number of excellent bands on hand to provide local openers. Loviatar were more than up to the task.
