After my Megaphon sojourns it was time to head back to the basement to see what Thomas White (of Spilt Guts, etc.) has been up to with his black metal duo. Two other acts I hadn't heard of were on the bill; as I arrived Occult Noize Embryo was cranking things up with some Suun0>>>-style sounds. As it happens, they weren't totally unfamiliar tome, with Ian Vance of BlackBread, Boom Creek and a host of other bands playing guitar and singing.
That mysterious hooded figure is Chris MacDonald of Four Frames, Boom Creek, Death Bop Trio and Throes.
